Title: La Gesta – Nelson Attack Recreation
Location: Castillo de San Juan, Santa Cruz
Description: He doesn’t give up, Admiral Nelson is still trying to invade Tenerife after his defeat in 1797. The annual re-enactment takes place by the old fortress of Castillo San Juan just along from the modern Auditorium. From 9pm the attack by the British and the defence of local forces will be replayed with musket and canon fire and the home victory will be marked with a firework display at 11pm.
