Plot: Chief Warrant Officer Roy Miller (Matt Damon) is sent to Iraq to uncover evidence of weapons of mass destruction. But Miller is just a bit too good at his job and unafraid to ask the questions that others won’t in his quest to get at the truth. After one awkward question too many, he finds that it’s almost impossible to tell his friends from his enemies as just about everyone seems to want him sent home in a box.

TM Rating:
The name might be different, but don’t kid yourself, this is Jason Bourne does Iraq; a man with integrity, and some nifty fighting moves, who will stop at nothing to uncover the truth. Movies set in Iraq have proved box office duds so far. Even Oscar winner The Hurt Locker didn’t bring in the crowds, but this is different. Green Zone may have a message, but it doesn’t let it get in the way of a roller coaster ride of edge of the seat hi-octane action. Matt Damon is perfect as the soldier with a conscience, whilst Jason Isaac does what he does best as Damon’s boo-hiss inducing foe.

8/10 ““ If you want warp-speed paced action, nail-biting tension, a quality script and a cast featuring some of the best actors around, then you just hit movie gold with this one. At last an English language film to get excited about”¦really, really excited.
